Getting Connected: how to get involved at IMPACT

IMPACT is not only a program for students, but it's a program that relies on the help of students to make sure it runs smoothly. There are many different opportunities for students to get involved, and each part is really important in making IMPACT a great place. Multimedia

• Commitment level: LOW – MEDIUM (based on availability)
• Timeframe: Wednesday Services (6:30-8:30PM) *rotating monthly schedule
• Description: The multimedia team is a great place to get connected. The media team will be responsible for running sound, lighting, video, audio recording, and ProPresenter on the computer. There will be opportunity to shoot and edit video. Training will be provided.

Event Staff

• Commitment level: LOW – MEDIUM (based on availability)
• Timeframe: 30 minutes before Wednesday Service (6:30-7:00PM) *rotating schedule
• Description: Event staff is a mix of adult leaders and students that will help create a friendly and welcoming environment for everyone at IMPACT. This will include greeting students, helping offering and announcements, and connecting with first time guests.

Worship Team

• Commitment level: HIGH
• Timeframe: Practice on Wednesday afternoons (5:15-6:15PM) and Wednesday Services
• Description: This is a great opportunity for students who are gifted musically. Opportunities will include singing and/or playing instruments (drums, guitar, keys, bass, etc.)

Crash Team

• Commitment level: LOW – MEDIUM (based on availability)
• Timeframe: Available before and after EVENTS on IMPACT Youth Calendar
• Description: Students who are on the CRASH TEAM will be teaming up with our adult leaders to make sure each and every event runs smoothly. They will need to assist with set-up, program direction, and teardown at every event.

Production Team:

• Commitment Level: LOW – MEDIUM (based on availability)
• Timeframe: During Wednesday Night Services (6:30-8:30pm) and to be available for scheduled Video Shooting and Editing Sessions
• Description: The production team will be involved in everything involving Audio and Video for IMPACT programs. There will be training to run the soundboard and the video camera.

Design and Marketing Team:

• Commitment Level: LOW-MEDIUM (based on availability)
• Timeframe: Before and after Wednesday Night Services and for additional set-up and teardown of stage sets, lighting, etc.
• Description: The Design and Marketing Team will have the opportunity to help design stage sets and backdrops for message series, creative lighting and décor for the Youth Chapel, and set design for special events. This team will also focus on assisting maintain and build the IMPACT website and helping create written publications for IMPACT.

Fine Arts Team:

• Commitment Level: MEDIUM-HIGH
• Timeframe: Scheduled segments in Wednesday Night Services
• Description: Members of the Fine Arts team will help introduce the arts of music, drama, and art to IMPACT each and every week. There will be opportunity to be part of services, outreaches, and special programs to showcase your talent and encourage others to do the same.
